How It Works: The Hybrid Difference

HALO is unique because it combines two distinct laser wavelengths delivered simultaneously to the same microscopic treatment zone. This dual-action approach maximizes skin renewal while minimizing recovery time.

Ablative Wavelength: Targets the surface layer of the skin (epidermis) to vaporize dull, damaged tissue and improve texture, pore size, and fine lines.
Non-Ablative Wavelength: Penetrates the deeper layers (dermis) to target sun damage and stimulate deep collagen production without injuring the skin’s surface.

The HALO Experience: What to Expect

We have designed our treatment protocol to ensure your comfort from start to finish.

1. Preparation Your appointment begins with the application of a high-strength topical anesthetic. We allow this to sit for 30–60 minutes to ensure you are completely numb.

2. The Treatment Your clinician uses advanced motion-tracking technology to ensure every inch of your skin is treated evenly. As the handpiece rolls over your skin, the integrated cooling system keeps you comfortable. Most patients describe the sensation as a feeling of heat with occasional “prickling,” but it is generally very tolerable.

3. Immediate Aftercare Your skin will feel warm for 15–30 minutes after the procedure (similar to a sunburn). We will apply cooling agents and specific post-care products to soothe the skin before you leave.

Recovery Timeline

HALO is famous for its “manageable” recovery. Here is exactly what you can expect:

First 24 Hours: Your skin will look red and feel warm. Keep it protected and avoid heavy exercise.
Day 2: You may notice a “bronzed” appearance, as if you have a deep tan.
Day 3–4: The skin will begin to gently peel or flake, revealing the fresh, new pink skin underneath. Note: Most patients can wear makeup and return to work by Day 2 or 3.
Day 5+: The peeling subsides, and you will begin to see that signature “HALO Glow.”
Weeks 2–3: The greatest improvement in pigmentation (brown spots) becomes visible.
Months 1–6: Deep dermal regeneration continues, improving wrinkles and elasticity over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many treatments do I need?

This depends on your goals. You can choose one or two aggressive treatments for maximum impact, or a series of multiple lighter treatments to achieve the same goal gradually. We will build a plan that fits your calendar.

How long do results last?

Years. Because HALO triggers new collagen growth, the improvements are structural. With proper sun protection and skincare, you can enjoy your results for a long time.

Can I combine HALO with other treatments?
