Micro Laser Peel
Consultations offered at our two convenient locations in Houston and Lake Jackson, TX

Turn back time with the “Weekend Peel” that goes deeper than skincare ever could.
You have your routine—the expensive creams, the serums, the daily regimen. But one day, you look in the mirror and realize that despite your best efforts, your skin still looks tired. Fine lines are deepening, texture feels rough, and that youthful glow seems harder to find.
The truth is, your skin is doing its job; it is constantly renewing itself. But as we age, that process slows down. Dead cells accumulate on the surface, creating a barrier that no topical product can fully penetrate. At Town & Country Plastic Surgeons + Medspa, we use MicroLaserPeel™ to clear away that tired, damaged layer and reveal the vibrant, healthy skin waiting underneath.

How It Works: Precision Resurfacing
MicroLaserPeel is an advanced epidermal resurfacing treatment that removes the outermost layers of the skin with laser precision.
Unlike chemical peels, which rely on a chemical reaction that can be unpredictable, the MicroLaserPeel uses a scanning laser to remove a specific, controlled depth of skin. This precision allows us to target:
- Mild to deep wrinkles that surface treatments miss.
- Rough texture and keratosis (scaly patches).
- Pigment irregularities, sun damage, and freckles.
- Mild acne scarring.
The Result: Because we remove the specific layer of skin that holds these imperfections, the body naturally replaces it with fresh, healthy cells, leading to a dramatic improvement in tone, texture, and color evenness.
The “Weekend Peel” Advantage
MicroLaserPeel has earned the nickname “The Weekend Peel” because it delivers aggressive results with a recovery timeline that fits into a long weekend.
It is the perfect “middle ground” solution—bridging the gap between gentle lunchtime facials and more aggressive, downtime-heavy resurfacing procedures.
This is the ideal treatment if you:
- Want results that are more significant than a chemical peel or NanoLaserPeel.
- Are preparing for a milestone event (wedding, reunion) and want a fresh canvas.
- Have a few days to recover but cannot afford two weeks of downtime.
Your Treatment Experience
The Procedure Your provider will customize the depth of the laser based on your specific goals and downtime preferences. The laser scans over the treatment area, instantly vaporizing the damaged tissue.
- Sensation: Most patients describe a feeling of heat or snapping, but we ensure your comfort throughout the session.
- Duration: Treatments are efficient, typically taking 30–45 minutes depending on the areas treated (Face, Neck, Chest, or Hands).
The Recovery Timeline
- Days 1–2: Your skin will look red and feel tight, similar to a sunburn.
- Days 3–4: The old layer of skin will begin to peel or flake away. Most patients feel comfortable returning to work and social activities by Day 4.
- Day 5–7: Your skin is fully healed, revealing a smoother, brighter, and more youthful complexion. Makeup can typically be worn once the peeling is complete.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from NanoLaserPeel?
This is a question of depth. NanoLaserPeel is a lighter polish (removing 4–10 microns of skin) for instant glow. MicroLaserPeel goes deeper (10–50+ microns) to actually correct wrinkles and significant texture issues.
Will I need multiple treatments?
Because this is a deeper resurfacing, excellent results can often be achieved in just one treatment. However, depending on the severity of your sun damage, your physician may recommend a small series or annual maintenance sessions.
How long do results last?
Long-term. Because we are physically removing damaged tissue and stimulating new collagen, the results are durable. With proper sun protection and skincare, your smoother texture and reduced lines can last for an extended period.
