Frequently Asked Questions

How many treatments will I need?

While you will likely see improvements after your first session, acne is a continuous cycle. We typically recommend a starting series of 4 to 6 treatments spaced 1–2 weeks apart to get the bacteria under control.

Is there downtime?

Virtually none. You may experience some mild redness immediately following the procedure (similar to a post-workout flush), but this typically fades within a few hours. You can return to school or work immediately.

Can I combine this with other treatments?

Yes. For patients with significant scarring, we often combine Forever Clear BBL with SkinPen® Microneedling or Halo® Laser Resurfacing to smooth the skin’s texture once the active acne is under control.
