Breast Lift

Consultations offered at our two convenient locations in Houston and Lake Jackson, TX

Restore the youthful position and confidence you remember.

You love your natural breast size, but you miss the lifted, youthful shape they used to have. Whether due to pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight fluctuations, or simply the passage of time, gravity eventually affects the skin’s elasticity. The result is often a silhouette that feels “lower” or “heavier” than the energetic woman you feel like on the inside.

At Town & Country Plastic Surgeons + Medspa, we understand that you aren’t looking to change everything. You don’t necessarily want to be bigger or different; you just want to feel like yourself again. Led by Dr. Scott Yarish and Dr. Janak Parikh, our breast lift procedures are designed to restore your natural contours, placing your breasts back in their youthful position so you can feel comfortable in swimwear, fitted clothing, and your own skin.

Before and After Photos

What is a Breast Lift?

A breast lift, clinically known as Mastopexy, is a surgical procedure designed to raise and reshape sagging breasts. Unlike a breast reduction (which removes significant tissue) or augmentation (which adds volume), a lift focuses on repositioning.

The Goals of Surgery:

  • Elevate the nipple and areola to a forward-facing, youthful height.
  • Tighten the breast envelope by removing excess, stretched skin.
  • Reshape the breast tissue to be rounder and firmer.
  • Reduce the size of the areola if it has become enlarged over time.

Am I A Candidate?

The decision to pursue a breast lift becomes clear when you realize you are seeking restoration rather than alteration. You may be an ideal candidate if:

  • Nipple Position: Your nipples sit below the breast crease or point downward.
  • Skin Laxity: Your breasts feel “empty” or pendulous due to loose skin.
  • Stable Weight: You are at or near your ideal weight and do not plan on significant fluctuations.
  • Clothing Fit: You find yourself relying on heavy-duty support bras just to achieve a normal silhouette.
  • Health: You are a non-smoker in good general health.

Note: While many women choose this procedure after childbearing, you can have a breast lift before having children. However, future pregnancy may stretch the skin again.

Your Customized Options

We understand that “scarring” is a primary concern. During your consultation, we will evaluate your anatomy to recommend the technique that offers the best lift with the least visible footprint.

Will I look natural? Yes. Our philosophy is conservative and restorative. The result should look like your breasts did years ago—lifted and firm—not pulled or artificial.

Addressing Scars (Our Protocol) All breast lifts require incisions to remove excess skin. However, we place these incisions strategically (often around the areola or vertically down to the crease) so they are hidden by bikinis and bras.

  • Expert Care: To ensure the finest possible healing, our comprehensive care includes scar creams, silicone tape, and laser therapy as part of your recovery package.

Recovery: What to Expect

The Procedure

  • Anesthesia: General anesthesia is used for your complete comfort.
  • Duration: 2–3 hours.
  • Type: Outpatient (you go home the same day).

The Timeline

  • First Few Days: You will feel sore and experience mild swelling. You will be sent home in a supportive surgical bra that keeps the tissues secure.
  • Week 1: We recommend taking one week off from work to rest.
  • Weeks 4–6: You can gradually resume normal exercise and wear the bra of your choice.
  • Results: You will see the lift immediately! However, the breasts will settle into their final, natural shape over 3–6 months.

Complete Your Transformation

Many women find that once they decide to restore their breasts, it makes sense to address other concerns simultaneously. A Breast Lift is frequently combined with:

  • Tummy Tuck: To restore the waistline after pregnancy (Mommy Makeover).
  • Liposuction: To refine the bra roll or flanks for a smooth torso.
  • Augmentation: Adding a small implant to restore “upper pole fullness” (cleavage) that a lift alone cannot create.

Schedule Your Private Consultation

The confident, vibrant woman you are inside deserves to be reflected in the mirror. The best time to restore your youthful shape was when you first noticed the change. The next best time is today.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a Lift and Implants?

Think of it this way: A Lift addresses position (sagging). Implants address volume (size).

* If you like your size but hate the droop → Lift.
* If you want to be larger and fix the droop → Lift + Augmentation.
* If you want to be smaller and fix the droop → Lift + Reduction.

Can I still breastfeed?

There is no medical reason you cannot nurse after a breast lift. However, most women choose to wait until they are finished having children, as pregnancy can stretch the breasts and reverse the benefits of the surgery.

Is it painful?

Most patients describe the recovery as “uncomfortable” rather than acutely painful. The soreness is similar to a very intense upper-body workout. Prescribed medication and your support bra will manage this effectively in the first few days.
